Kid's Club Program

Most Sunday’s, the children stay for praise and then leave and play outside for a while. At 11:00, our lesson starts and we learn about a Godly principle, Bible character, or Biblical event. Before we get into the lesson, we have tithes and offering, which teaches the children about building up the kingdom of God. We pray together and then ask the children what they know about the topic and encourage discussion before the initial lesson. We read a story from the Bible, and have some further discussion and question time, and discuss what we can learn from the story, character or principle. We then play a song or video, which follows on from the lesson. After the lesson, we always have a colour in sheet and a craft activity available for the children, and occasionally a fun activity such as a science experiment, dramatic play time, or group activity. The children have free time after this and we provide them with a snack during this time. 10 minutes before the service ends, we clean up and sit in a circle and do an ice breaker activity. We then bring your children back over to the church.

 

END OF MONTH

At the end of the month, the children leave the service around 11:00 and we have a shorter lesson. We have some time outside and then come inside for tithes and offering, a quick lesson which includes a song or video and a craft activity. We then bring the children back over to the church at 12:00.
 

SCHOOL HOLIDAY BREAKS
When the school holiday breaks are on, we do not have any lessons at Kids Club. The children watch video series from Hillsong Kids and other churches, during the school holidays.
